Nidhog DSL

Nidhog DSL is a technology that transforms a standard telephone line into a high-speed, high-capacity, always-on, inexpensive data connection. DSL offers data transfer speeds starting at 512K bps. All of Nidhog's DSL services include a static IP number!

The Nidhog DSL service requires the purchase of an inexpensive DSL modem ($100.00). The DSL modem will connect directly to the Ethernet interface on your computer. For LAN users, the DSL modem will connect to your router or for those concerned about computer security, a firewall. If you need a router or a firewall, Nidhog can supply these items. Any item purchased from Nidhog will be configured free of charge.

In addition to the modem charge, Nidhog will charge a one-time setup fee of $100.00. This includes the setups fees charged by the telephone company to connect your location to their network. The telephone company installing the DSL line will charge an additional installation labor and materials fee if you need them to install a line and the jack from where their service enters the building to the place where you plan to install the DSL modem.

Residential DSL service begins at $47.99 a month**, and Commercial service starts at $129.99 a month. Please contact our sales depaartment and let us design a package that best suits your needs.

Nidhog Dedicated Connections

When DSL is not available or your company requires solid, reliable, very high speed, dedicated access to the Internet, Nidhog's dedicated T1 service is the right product for you.

Nidhog is located in the aspStation data center which is great news for our T1 customers. Also located in the same data center are three local telephone companies. Having these three carriers, allows us to offer a wide range of products, services and very competitive prices.

Purchase the bandwidth you need. Our dedicated T1 product can be purchased with as little as 256K of bandwidth usage while still allowing your users to burst at the full 1.54Mbps speed.

Nidhog provides routers, firewalls, and on-site mail servers.

Nidhog ISDN

Nidhog ISDN is a dial-up digital service provided by the local telephone company. Unlike a 56K modem connection, this is a true 56K digial connection! All of our Nidhog and Echomatrix dial-up customers may use an ISDN line to our existing modem pool at no extra charge using a 56K connection. The really good news is ISDN provides both 56K and 128K connections. For an additional $14.95 a month over your current dial-up service fee, you will be able to access the Internet at 128K.

Special Bonus: If your telephone service is provided out of any of the following telephone company central offices, Nidhog can provide a special unlimited ISDN connection. This is ideal if you are unable to install a Nidhog DSL line due to distance limitations from the central office or due to being served from a remote central office. This service includes both the ISDN line to your location and all Internet access fees.
